Alexander McQueen Men's A/W 2010

Alexander's collection for the Men's A/W 2010 line is made up entirely of prints and included suits,leather/fur coats, and even banks-heist masks. Obviously being McQueen you can expect the human skulls and bones and a splash of paint displayed in this collection. Not to mention the fur and leather gloves which were a little on the risque side but can definitely be worn in a fashionable way.McQueen is the epitome of fashionable art so you have to examine his clothing and not so much question is it wearable but be able to admire it as a work of art. I loved the knitted skull sweater the most it was different and edgy yet classy at the same time. There were some amazing prints that I've really never seen in suit form that were completely memorizing to look at. Another favorite of mine was the use of paint splatters and also a print effect where it looked like the model had just been splash with water or paint of some sort. McQueen is a genius who really is able to invent things that haven't been done in the fashion world and to me that shows a true original designer.
