Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2010

At the Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring show there was one stand out factor - pastel. The sexy, flowing dresses were all a light pastel shade, from purple to blue and green - the luxurious colours were everywhere.
The dresses were figure hugging and many had daring thigh-high splits. There was shimmering embellishment, stuck on flowers - the look was completely feminine and pretty.

There was some light floral printing on some of the bigger dresses with what looked like huge blown up flower leaves delicately printed on to the sheer layers of fabric.Other dresses were overcome with embellishment with tiny silver beading and floral designs featuring all over the transparent, bodycon dresses. This was a collection that can easily be summed up by just calling it complete and utter girlyness.
