Love Her/Hate Her - Whitney Port

Whitney Port - who is most famous for her role in MTV’s “The Hills” also has a background in fashion. Whitney is a former contributor to Teen Vogue and once worked for Diane Von Furstenberg. As if that wasn’t enough - she also created her own label “Whitney Eve“, which premiered at New York fashion week in September.

Whitney seems to have a growing fashion status and is becoming recognised as a style icon. The thing about Whitney that makes her different is that she gained her celebrity status through a reality TV show, which forces me to dis-like her and make me feel that she doesn’t really deserve a fashion line of her own because she’s not exactly a qualified designer - just a reality TV star with a fashion background.
