Size Matters: V Magazine

V Magazines issue named “ The Size Issue” features a plus sized model next to a normal sized model wearing the same outfits. This editorial is to highlight the fact that models don’t need to be thin to have fashion look great on their bodies.Plus sized model who appeared in the shoot, Crystal Renn seems to agree with this, who in the past has walked for Jean Paul Gaultier.

Although it seems well and good here, I don’t think this is particularly the case or that all models should be plus sized. I don’t think people want to see “plus size” models - it removes them from the fantasy which luxury products are all about - perfect worlds with no imperfections. If it wasn’t for this dream of perfection - the luxury market wouldn’t exist - and what fun is reality?
