When the news hit the world that fashion designer, Alexander McQueen had died tragically yesterday - the fashion industry stood still. Today, some of the fashion worlds most influential figures, as well as his close friends within the industry are making statements and sending their regards to McQueen.
Naomi Campbell paid a visit to the Alexander McQueen store in New York as a mark of respect. Her accompanying friend wore an Alexander McQueen scarf as a tribute to the designer.

At the same Alexander McQueen store, fans stopped by with flowers and cards all day yesterday and today. Gemma Ward tweeted about the loss of the fashion legend last night saying:
