LFW: Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2010

Christopher Bailey pulled out all the stops to make this a memorable show - streaming the show live and  holding 3D presentations in locations across the globe - this was certainly a fashion first. The collection had a basic colour palette of pea green, royal blue and lemon yellow - a subdued, wintery tone was prevalent.

The show stopping pieces were definitely the large array of funnel neck, shearling jackets. These looked really snug and were impressively designed. The collection also featured the standard selection of well cut trench coats which were pretty average when compared to last season’s interesting puffy sleeved trenches which I really liked. A lot of the looks were teamed with patent leather boots - some thigh high which means that’s another trend we can expect to see come back into vogue next season. There is currently a select few pieces of sale from the new collection which you can get here for a limited period only.
