LFW: Vivienne Westwood Red Label Autumn/Winter

This punky, scruffy collection was bursting with colour and pattern - true to classic Westwood. This models had fluffy dishevelled Mohawks and had a strange charcoal mix on their faces. The collection seemed to be tied into a message about Climate Change - a t-shirt with a “Loyalty 2 Gaia” love and respect mother earth slogan gave off this message loud and clear.

The mix and match look had sort of a Tokyo street style vibe to it - you could easily imagine seeing a cute Harajuku girl making peace signs with a pink quiff in these designs. I quite liked this collection - it’s strong message and colours make this a pure Westwood creation. It’s not only fun but has meaning too.
