MFW: Dsquared² Autumn/Winter 2010

This collection was a step away from the usual preppy cool spin that Dan and Dean usually put on everything, and it was probably a badly timed move considering sportswear is huge this season and they could have brought that into next season’s collection with their usual fun, sporty take.

I did like the vampy looks that were on display in the show  - lots of fur topped off with black and red dresses and big, black sunglasses and cherry red lips. There was a few nice biker style jackets which were shown with some pretty skirts - oh and lots of leather too. The model’s were moody looking, with pale skin and dramatic eyeliner flicks. Although I liked the direction of the show, it did lack that special preppyness that Dsquared² normally bring to the table.
