NYFW - Jason Wu Fall 2010

Jason Wu had the most colourful collection so far - bright yellows and oranges mashed against browns and blacks to give winter some warmth. It reminded me of that sort of rainbowy colour leaves turn before they turn crisp and fall off the tree in Autumn - this is just what Wu managed to achieve with the pallet. In giving Winter some much needed warmness, Wu will inspire me to wrap up in yellow sweaters instead of black - to wear bit necklaces and sunglasses all year round - even when it rains.
There was some breathtaking floaty dresses that looked fragile and icy - they were huge and bellowing - almost Disney princess but with a little less fantasy. The collection was flawlessly put together and there was still the usual winter staples - such as knits, woolen goods and boots.
