Victoria Beckham showed her twenty-six piece collection to a small gathering today in New York City. Her pieces, minimalist and intimate like the event itself, were inspired by the 1940s and Dick Tracy. The colors, ranging from nude to a brilliant turquoise, were a nod to the strong palette of comic books.
ELLE magazine creative director, Joe Zee, kept his twitter updated throughout the show, noting the fabulous shoes designed by Brian Atwood and a 1930s inspired gown. Zee noted the collection was masculine, minimal, and heavily draped details. Beckham is always classic, sophisticated glamour and her collection today was just that.
