NYFW - Zac Posen Fall 2010

There has been much speculation that Posen is currently struggling in these tough financial times - after all, there seems to be a growing pressure on fashion houses to downsize due to financial difficulties of late. Posen managed to put on a marvellous show despite these rumours - the models were on top form and were clearly instructed to be playful and happy on the catwalk - there was hands on hips and smiles all round from the models.

The clothes seems more modest - with no sign of ball gowns. There was an understated stylishness to the whole collection - with 40s style pantsuits, a delicious dash of fur, and velvet and silk dresses. The colours were vibrant and playful - deep ruby reds, light blues and alluring oranges made sure the clothes were noticeable for the right reasons.
Posen did a great job - money or no money.
