MFW: Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2010

This collection was all about getting back to the basics of fashion. Each piece was like a tribute to a classic Dolce and Gabbana piece they had made in the past - well fitting blazers, leopard print dresses and sexy lacy goods. Although this collection wasn’t overtly in your face, it had a subtle message which was based around getting back to the root of fashion - and why we love it so much in the first place.

It was clear that the design duo wanted to create a collection that summed up what Dolce and Gabbana was all about - well designed pieces that had love and thought put into them. There was some really beautiful dresses and jackets which will stand the test of time and seemed quite seasonless, perfect for a Dolce and Gabbana investment piece, such as a one button blazer or a decent jacket that won't go out of fashion.
