PFW: Miu Miu Autumn/Winter 2010

Miu Miu’s 60s themed show, had a romantic vibe, distant from the Prada mainline label, which had a more sexy theme. This collection had many dark, black dresses but the ones which had an injection of colour were stunning. Bright purples, warm yellows and some nude tones were used to give winter some warmth, which has been seen a lot for the coming Winter season.

Solid, full skirts were teamed with starchy puffy sleeved tops. The main dresses of the collection were cute mini dresses with added collars in a bold, block colour or a ribbon neck tie, which featured on many of the models.

This was a perfect Miu Miu collection - offbeat, stylish and sultry, and managed to bring back some 60s style clothing with making it appear too naff and overdone.
