Isabel Marant NY Store Opening Draws a Crowd

Isabel Marant opened her first US store in New York last Friday, and the queue stretched far down the street, as adoring fans of the label queued to get a glimpse inside the new store, with the hope of taking home a piece of the french designer's work.

Isabel also held a private party later on in the day, a sophisticated dinner party which was packed with New York's fashion pack, including models Erin Wasson, Kasia Struss and Lily Donaldson, all looking well put together for the occasion.

Isabel, who is Paris based, has become increasingly successful over the last few years, and the opening of her New York store is another big leap for the designer.

Her designers often embody Parisian chic - sexy, womanly designs that ooze elegance. So much so that they appeal to that sophisticated Coco Chanel type in all of us.
