Stefano Pilati Finished At Yves Saint Laurent?

 Last Night, one of the biggest events in the Yves Saint Laurent calender, The Metropolitan Opera Gala took place. Every year Stefano Pilati attends the gala, and appears side by side with Anna Wintour, but last night, both Pilati and Wintour failed to show. 

Now rumors are flying about the designer, especially since at Paris Fashion Week, when he was told that YSL clothing doesn't sell as well as the shoes and bags from the line, and that sales performance has been poor.

Some say that he will be replaced, and other rumors say that PPR are in the process of looking for a new creative director for the famous fashion house. 

A spokeswoman for Yves Saint Laurent has denied the rumors, and has also stated that Pilati will be making two important appearances soon, in New York for the Costume Institute Gala on May 3 and he will also show the YSL Cruise 2011 collection in Manhattan.
