Rumours have been circulating that Giles Deacon might be getting ready to take over as creative director at Emanuel Ungaro. The fashion house has been suffering in recent times, and even went through a brief stint with Lindsay Lohan as the artistic adviser of a collection (Spring/Summer 2010) but they quickly dropped the actress when the collection was deemed unsuccessful.
Now it looks as though the fashion house is in talks with Giles Deacon in an effort to renovate the label's image. Deacon was spotted with the owner of Ungaro, Asim Abdullah and his management team at a meeting.
It looks as though the Abdullah is looking for a driving force who can put Ungaro back on the fashion map, and stop it from making a loss, as it has done recently.
The label has yet to find someone to help it reflorish, after being sold to it's current owner in 2005.
