While denim on denim has formerly been a trademark fashion "don't," the recent myriad of denim-based designer looks has banished that notion all together. Spring and summer have brought about denim in every form from the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Dsquared2, and others. And while some find it hard to adapt designer trends to an every-day wardrobe, this new-found love of denim has trickled down so far, that commercial friendly brands such as Gap Inc. are single-handedly bringing this trend straight from the runways to women everywhere.
Possibly the most noteworthy denim on denim looks came from Dolce and Gabbana's spring/summer 2010 collection. Rustic looks mixed with frilly details showed an exquisite mix of hard and soft, all with a western twist.

And if being fully-outfitted in denim stands to be a little much, those looking to tone it down can look to Dsquared2. Worn denim mixed with current neons and easy Tees truly make this trend wearable.

Affordable denim for every occasion has also been made available through brands such as the Gap. Western button downs and destructed boyfriends are echoed throughout their spring and summer collections, drawing inspiration straight from the runways.
