Louis Vuitton Prepares For London Opening

Louis Vuitton is gearing up for the official opening of their major London store, which will be opened to the public this Friday 28th. The store will also roll out the red carpet with a major star studded event before its public opening, which house designer Marc Jacobs will be in town for.

The 15,000 sq ft store is a work of art in itself, featuring a two-storey wall of trunks, and a glass and LED staircase.The ground floor of the new store will be devoted to Louis Vuitton accessories, with a jewelery and sunglasses section, as well as artwork by Richard Prince and Takashi Murakami.

The lower floor will house menswear and men's items, while the first floor will be dedicated to womenswear and shoes, and will also feature a "Librairie" section containing some of the most highly regarded British contemporary art books.

The store will have a private suite reserved for invited clients only.
The red carpet rolls out on the 25th of May and more then 300 guests are expected to attend the opening gala. The store is located at 17-20 New Bond Street, London, W1.
