Riccardo Tisci Casts Transgender Model For Givenchy Campaign

In a bold move, Riccardo Tisci cast 9 male and female models, including one trans-gender model for his next Givenchy Advertisement Campaign.

 Tisci is known for exploring the line between masculine and feminine, so the use of a transgender model seems fitting for the campaign.
The model, named Lea T, is Riccardo's personal assistant and is a former fit model, formerly known as Leo. Tisci says about the choice:

“She’s always been very feminine: superfragile, very aristocratic. She’s part of the family."

The campaign will be released in Autumn this year, and also features models Mariacarla Boscono, Joan Smalls, Ming Xi, Catherine McNeil and Malgosia Bel, and was shot by Mert and Marcus in Paris.
