It looks as though Zac Posen whos fashion home so far has been New York, is planning on showing his collections in Paris, starting from next season. Zac recently spoke to a visitor who came to his showroom, where he admitted that a move was in the works.

It is reported that Zac told the visitor that he may show his Spring collection in Paris, adding that:
“they understand my clothes.”
He also mentioned that he was unable to secure his preferred time slot for New York Fashion Week this Spring.
When contacted today, Posen stated that:
“doing a fashion show in New York with today’s climate, is difficult.”
Adding that the move made sense:
“my clothes are respected [in Europe].”
When asked if they were not respected in New York, he replied:
“It’s not just about respect. It’s about the work I do, and who wears the clothes.”
It looks as though Posen is set to make the move, and New York will be at a huge loss if this is the case.
