This Autumn will prove to be a classic one, as we see simple yet sophisticated styles returning - think block colour dresses in mature, defined cuts - a sort of Audrey Hepburn-esque glamour. Yves Saint Laurent have issued their signature muse bag in a tastey plum, while Miu Miu have used classic leopart print on their sheepskin coats for a luxurious stamp on the look

Look out for Etolie Isabel Marant - this concession label by the french designer provides true Parisian style for a more reasonable price - I've featured an oversized tweed coat from the label below. The key to this trend is less is more - look out for sharp tailoring and well made clothes rather then prints, and a below the knee length says sophistication while still flashing a little flesh. Bags should be in classic styles - look at Chanel's 2.55 styles, unfussy Fendi clutches or a muse by YSL.
