BFC NewGen Sponsorship Winners Announced

 The British Fashion Council announced today, the designers who have won the NewGen sponsorship for the Spring/Summer season. Their prize includes £5000 - £10000 towards their show costs, sponsored exhibition space, usage of the BFC Catwalk Show Space and mentoring.
The winners, as announced just moments ago, include Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Holly Fulton, Michael Van Der Ham and David Koma, all of which are set to show at London Fashion Week. The NewGen scheme was originally set up to give designers on-going support for up to four seasons, and has previously sponsored Alexander McQueen, Boudicca, Matthew Williamson, Julien Macdonald, Lara Bohinc and Ann-Louise Roswald and more recently Christopher Kane, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll and Erdem.

Other upcoming designers will also be sponsored as part of the NewGen scheme, including Craig Lawrence and Louise Grey who received sponsorship for their presentations, while Christopher Raeburn, Dominic Jones, Fannie Schiavoni and Yang Du will receive sponsorship to create installations.

Mark Fast, Heikki Salonen, Felicity Brown, Sykes, J JS Lee, Atalanta Weller, Michael Lewis,Chau Har Lee and Jordan Askill will all be a part of the NewGen exhibition programme.
