Designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Hermès have both been instrumental in Menon's transition into fashion. 2007 allowed for the aspiring model to be featured in both shows, as well as later being featured as the sole face of Hermès, replacing Daria Werbowy.
As Menon continued to draw attention from designers and industry officials, she went on to sign with Ford Models in 2008, acquiring work soon after with Givenchy, Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and Vera Wang during New York's fashion week. 2008 also allowed for Menon to be named Vogue's "This Year's Model," as well as Menon appearing in not only one but two editorials for V magazine in November of that year.

2009 inevitably brought about a slew of buzz regarding Menon. Within the month of March, Menon not only appeared in a Vogue editorial photographed by Mikael Jansson, but was once again featured on the cover of Indian Vogue in May of that year. Menon also snagged the cover of Dazed & Confused, photographed by Josh Olins, in April. She maintained her relationships with designers such as Carolina Herrera, Jason Wu, Michael Kors, Givenchy, and Hermès, walking in shows based in both New York and Paris during the spring.

Recently, Menon has been featured in the fall 2009 campaign for H&M, photographed by Terry Richardson. Her latest career move was to leave Ford models and to sign with Supreme Management in the beginning of 2010. Menon has also since modeled for Diane von Furstenberg, VPL, Derek Lam, Erin Wasson x RVCA and Jean Paul Gaultier in their spring and fall 2010 lines.
