The vibe was definitely that of old-school glamour. A-line floral skirts, patterned blouses, colored trenches and a bit of sheer fabric were alluring charms. Even the accessories evoked classic sophistication: floppy straw hats adorned with chic black ribbon, pale driving gloves and of course, totes with the label's signature logo. Each look seemed focused on embracing the female form. A blue floral-print bustier dress with a black bow to create curves, a high-waisted pant belted and paired with a lacy blouse, and a rosy-pink frock with a floaty skirt were all perfectly pretty and flattering as well.
With so many designers focused on the less-is-more approach, it was a welcome change of pace to see a collection that took that new rule and disregarded it completely. It's what makes fashion so liberating.
