Menswear Spring/Summer 2011 Rundown #2

Since our last rundown, we've seen more action at Paris Fashion Week, with fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Dries Van Noten showing their collections.

Another mixed bag of themes and clothing on offer - Dries Van Noten offered a sort of British punk look, mixed in with 80's pieces such as acid wash denim. Louis Vuitton showed a range of sophisticated pieces in rich colours - some safari themed.

Yohji Yamamoto's collection was a dreamy mix of tailored pieces which urged men everywhere to dress up and be bold, while the models over at Viktor & Rolf's show paraded down the catwalk to the sound of La Roux playing live behind them. Jean Paul Gaultier's show had a Marrakesh theme, with earthy colours teamed with long, loose garments and patterned scarves. All in all, it yet again proclaimed how diverse men's fashion really has become.
