The two sisters were spotted by Elite Model Management, and Ana was encouraged to take part in a the "Elite Model Look" competition in 1996, where she placed as a runner up.
Elite got Ana her first job for Guess? working alongside fellow Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio in the Millennium GUESS? campaign.
Ana became a Victoria's Secret model in 2002, and has been modeling for the famous lingere company ever since. Apart from Victoria's Secret, she's also worked in the world of high-fashion. Ana has walked for designers such as:
Valentino, Missoni, Gucci, Christian Dior, Versace, Emporio Armani, BCBG, DKNY, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors and Elie Saab.
Ana has graced the cover of numerous magazines since the beginning of her career, including:
Glamour, Vogue, Marie Claire, Allure,Capricho, Audi magazine, W and Elle.
She also appeared in the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007 & 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions.
