Net-a-Porter to Launch Menswear Site in January

Online luxury retailer Net-a-Porter.com are gearing up to launch a menswear site (finally!) which will be called Mr.Porter. The site will launch next January with Spring/Summer 2011 clothing for sale. The launch will be ten years to the day that the original site began, and will see founder Natalie Massenet at the helm again.

Natalie said about the new venture:
"We have a ready-made customer base for our men’s business, 100% of Net-a-Porter customers have a man in their lives in some capacity and 59% of them are married or living with their partners.”
Adding:
"Additionally we look forward to welcoming a new group of super stylish men who join us to shop for themselves with the same level of service, dedication and commitment that women have had for the last decade.”

Mr Porter will sell a mix of labels as well as niche brands, some confirmed include:
Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin, YSL, Gucci, Margiela, Balmain, Dunhill, Margaret Howell, Rick Owens, John Lobb and MR by Roland Mouret.

The new site comes at a perfect time for the company, who have recently expanded to include bridal wear.
