Nicola Formichetti to Take Over at Thierry Mugler?

According to a new rumour, Nicola Formichetti who is fashion director for Vogue Hommes Japan, is set to take over from Rosemary Rodriguez at Thierry Mugler. Rosemary has been the fashion house's creative director since 2008, but the label are currently looking for someone to replace her.

Formichetti regularly styled Lady Gaga, and works for  a whole string of fashion magazines, including:

Fashion director of VOGUE HOMMES JAPAN
Creative director of DAZED & CONFUSED
Contributing fashion editor of V, VMANANOTHER

According to his website, his clients include:
Prada, Alexander McQueen, Missoni, D&G, Gareth Pugh, Issey Miyake and Iceberg.

It has also been rumoured that Gareth Pugh might be stepping in as creative director - but both rumours have yet to be denied or confirmed by the fashion house. Watch this space!
