Statement Shoes: The Ones to Keep/Leave

2010 is all about the statement shoe. An outfit can be built from the ground up with barely any effort with any one of these chic styles. There is something for everyone: Sexy, thigh high Burberry Prorsum boots, stillettos, which are on the rise once again, and of course the wedge, a true and trusty friend has survived yet another season. On the other hand though, there are some risky options out there.
Some of the shoes I have listed as a bad idea aren't necessarily that, but are just a little harder to pull off then your average statement shoe. The Alexander Mcqueen Armidillo shoes are as much a tribute as a no-no. They all qualify as high fashion, a wonderful statement piece, but sometimes only for the mantlepiece.
