Vera Wang's much anticipated Resort 2011 Collection left women everywhere with a sense of satisfaction.Once again, Wang straddled the line of upscale artsy chic, mixed with practicality and true wear-ability. Black was a constant yet fresh aspect of Wang's line, as leggings, pants, and dresses of all materials gave way to structured yet loose separates. Floaty silhouettes among Wang's tops and dresses added an ethereal effect to the line, while the balance of hard and soft was held true, through accessories and color palettes.
Although Wang's aesthetic is known extensively throughout the industry, her line managed to hold true to her feminine form, while giving it a fresh and alternative spin. If anything, Wang's fine showing of hard and soft through her Resort collection, once again reiterated her standing as a truly exquisite designer.
