Not only are they stylish, but they are also practical. Worn by pilots (who can forget Top Gun?) because the lense attempts to cover the entire area surrounding the eye and prevent as much light as possible. Also, if you've ever been unfortunately pulled over, you've probably noticed police officers wear them because they cancel out the glare. No wonder they caught you speeding! So now you can feel good about your fashion choice.

@Dominique, it's not obligatory to include every single aviator shade ever made, she did include one Oliver Peoples style, which is more then enough, so I don't quite see how the lack of four other styles constitutes "Funny" - it's clearly not a definitive list, it's just a few of what is available at the moment in 70's style, as she mentioned.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get me some aviators!
ReplyDeleteSorry I sounded rude!
ReplyDeleteI mentioned the following models as they're ultra popular models available from OP. Victory 55 fetch crazy prices on ebay! Maybe not as retro, but definitely popular!
