Confirmed: Erin Wasson Splits with RVCA

It has been confirmed by both Erin Wasson and RVCA that their collaboration has come to an end, and that the Fall/Winter collection for 2010 will be their last joint effort. RVCA founder and creative director Pat Tenore addressed the rumours:
Erin Wasson x RVCA Fall/Winter 2010
"The current rumors are completely incorrect and misleading statements. RVCA and Erin have not parted ways indefinitely. Erin is part of the RVCA family, and we hope to work with her on new collaborations in the near future.”

RVCA marketing director Brian Garofalow backed up this statement:

"[The] agreement was for a time term, expiring 12/31/10. The term expires in between the development and go-to-market processes for [Spring 2011], so both parties opted not to develop the season as part of our current agreement.”

Erin also confirmed that she will no longer be producing the successful line for RVCA anymore:

“The deal was always supposed to finish on Dec. 31. Pat and I have a wonderful relationship. My focus is on continuing with my Low Luv brand. I’m expanding the line, creating more pieces and collaborating with other people as well.”

The lookbook for Erin Wasson x RVCA's last collection was released last week - check it out here.
