Designer on the Rise: Whitney Pozgay

For 29-year-old Whitney Pozgay, it's all in the family. The niece of designer Kate Spade, Pozgay is stepping out on her own with her first collection for fall under the label Whit. She takes elements of her aunt's classic signature style, and adds a quirky twist of her own.

Ladylike jackets, oversize skirts, plenty of prints and odd headpieces were woven throughout the collection. A striped tee tucked into a high-waisted A-line skirt, a simple gray shift and a black skirt with metallic polka dots paired with a fire-engine red sweatshirt were great looks for the upcoming season.
