Fashion Icon Lily Allen to Open Vintage Store

Musician and fashion icon, Lily Allen revealed in an interview for Elle magazine this month that she will be taking a break from her music career and opening a Vintage clothing store with her sister.

The store is scheduled to open in September down a quiet street behind Oxford Circus in London and will be called 'Lucy in disguise'. What's really exciting is that some of the clothes which will be sold at the store will be donated from Lily's very own wardrobe! Moreover, if you can't afford to purchase the clothes, it will be possible to rent the pieces instead!

‘I love clothes and I love consuming clothes' said Lily, '...and it’s not ethical to do that, so I’m quite happy to turn it into a business and see other people having enjoyment out of it. What good are they doing lying in the back of my wardrobe?’

Vintage at Goodwood festival, an event founded by designers Gerardine and Wayne Hemingway, will combine music and fashion and will feature the launch of Lily's new vintage clothing label.
