Maison Martin Margiela Couture Fall 2010: Metal and Color

The famously mysterious designer Maison Martin Margiela debuted a stunning couture show this week in Paris.
The famed Antwerp Alum stuck true to his aesthetic while playing with colors and textures. Margiela catered to the female form, sending models out in body hugging bodysuits and one pieces.
The designer displayed different textures mixing traditional fabrics with feathers, pearls, and various types of hardware.

In addition, Margiela presented vibrant and cool colors with his pieces ranging from bright red to soft camel. In the true spirit of fashion, Margiela also presented amazing dresses including a red dress with a lace veil, dresses with unbalanced hemlines, and a few with glamorous touches of metal. Truly original and definitely something to talk about.

Overall, the collection was unique and interesting while still flattering. The pieces were beautifully fitted without losing the fun of couture.
