Model Watch: Liu Wen

Liu Wen - born in China in 1988, she has made a name for herself since starting out back in 2005. Liu set out to become a model by entering New Silk Road World Model Contest - a contest which fellow model Du Juan had won previously. Liu did not win the competition, but it did act as a launch pad for her career, and she began to land modeling jobs because of it.
She became internationally recognized in China after gracing the cover of FHM, and from there she was offered jobs for Chinese fashion magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Liu had further success when she appeared in an editorial for Cosmopolitan in which she was styled as Karl Lagerfeld.
