Autumn Trend: Black Leather

Black leather rocked it's way down the catwalk this season - whether it was biker inspired or sophisticated, leather was fashioned in a veritable mix of styles for the upcoming winter season. At Chloé, the model wore a leather tracksuit, complete with elasticated ends and matching leather sweater. Moschino's cowgirls wore a double dose of leather too - a simple zip up leather jacket with a shirt-style collar was teamed with a knee length skirt.

Christopher Kane's floral dance-inspired dresses were also kitted out with a leather insert for an added touch of luxe. The designing duo over at Dsquared2 gave their dark looks a touch of allure with a ruffled leather jacket and a powerful leather shirt. Elsewhere, Bottega Veneta's long double-breasted jacket was the perfect mix of masculine tailoring and sophistication - perfect for the empowered femme.

Leather has always been thought of as luxurious, and no matter what way it's interpreted, these Autumn runway pieces show the full force of sultry black leather.
