Collections from Stockholm Fashion Week

Camilla Norrback showed her collection during Stockholm Fashion Week, and this is the first collection that she showed with menswear. The collection featured a few different themes, and to me felt a little stilted. Even in saying that, it was still a good collection, but wasn't as cohesive as I thought it could have been. Sticking mainly to neutral colors, Camilla does take a small chance to inject some red into the collection. With a slightly older aged feel to it, the collection begins to invoke a feeling of the past but doesn't quite reach it. The rest of the collection is viewable here.

The Hope collection, which also showed during Stockholm Fashion Week, gave me exactly that: HOPE! With a little play on leather, proportions, and prints, the collection seemed to show potential as the brand began to dabble into new things. Featuring menswear and womenswear, the collection also played with some of the industries fascinations of the moment like menswear as womenswear. To say that I was blown away by the collection would be an overstatement but, the collection did leave me wanting to see the brand progress. Some of my standout pieces for the collection were actually accessories(the man bag and leather hat featured above). See the rest of the collection here.

L Jung was one of the few menswear specific collections, and to me seemed very classic. Using  what some could consider as basic template, the collection really focuses on color, and the various uses of that color. The entire collection is a bit refreshing, with the widened scoop collars, and would certainly bring color to a man's wardrobe without being too eccentric. The best example of how to wear the pieces may be in the middle image featured, capitalizing on the eccentricity of the colors utilized.
