Growing up in Lancashire, Charlotte moved straight to London after finishing school in order to pursue her dream of becoming a clothes designer. She graduated from Saint Martins five years later and was instantly snapped up by Luella. Unfortunately she had to leave her job with Luella when the label closed down, but it was then that Charlotte decided to go down her own path and create a label of her own; a decision which resulted in the colourful collection below!
Her eponymous womenswear label was successfully launched at London Fashion Week in February 2010, in association with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Her collections are fun and fabulous with tailoring to perfection and a colour pallet to die for.
Inspired by penguins and grannies, the bold silhouettes and exciting shapes and patterns create an overall outstanding and very unique and memorable collection. I for one will be first in line to buy one of her limited edition penguin print head-scarves when they go on sale in September for just £40!
