Trend: The Bohemian Traveller

One reoccurring trend which emerged for Autumn/Winter was a surge in clashing patterned designs - these contrasting looks were boldly styled together, along with an array of shaggy furs, chunky knits, capes and hoods. The look was gypsy-esque, and the key to the look was simple: the more prints, the better.

The clashing leopard and floral prints at Roberto Cavalli stood out against each other in uncoordinated colours, while the looks at Kenzo were given a traveller feel with woven, long shrugs in a multitude of colours. Issey Miyake's chunky knitwear stole his show - drapey scarves were sewn into a simple top in a variety of bright, vibrant colours. Etro provided us with some travel inspired clothing - ethnic style prints were added to bright jacket and dresses, and kimono style tops.

Missoni reinvented their knitwear in clashing colours and patterns which was given a slightly gothic twist with dark sunglasses and vampy lips. Vivienne Westwood's patchwork jackets and skirts had a simplistic look, but their slouchy style was relaxed and bohemian.
