There has been much speculation about Gemma Ward's modelling career over the past few years after reports surfaced in August 2008 that she was to retire from modelling and pursue a career in acting. However these allegations were quickly dismissed by the model herself exclaiming that she was just taking some time off to "rest and enjoy the company of friends and family".


However in November 2009 after receiving a series of criticisms about weight gain, Gemma confirmed that she was retiring from her modelling career. She quickly dismissed the retirement claims though, explaining that she would be returning to modelling in 2010.


As the end of 2010 draws ever closer, I can't help but wonder, "Where is Gemma Ward?"

After looking forward to her return for almost two years now and only hearing news of her 'acting career', we can only hope that she keeps her word and will be back on the catwalk before 2011!
