Alber Elbaz Confirms Lanvin x H&M

Creative director of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz has confirmed that the label will be teaming up with high-street store H&;M for a collaboration. The good news came in the form of another 'viral video' part of a set that H;M has been releasing to tease the public about which label they are collaborating with for the Autumn/Winter season.

The news hit yesterday that H&M were gearing up to make the announcement, and we also had a look at the other 'viral videos' which dropped hints that it was going to be Lanvin. Here is a video, which sees Alber confirm the news, and he also explains that the collaboration won't be a 'dress on a budget' project - he explains his reasons for participating:

They asked if I could actually translate the dream that we created at Lanvin to a bigger audience. It wasn't a project about a dress for less. I think that I loved the idea that H&M was going luxury rather than Lanvin is going public. I thought it was a smart concept, so I said "I do".

UPDATE: Lanvin for H&M collection will launch in 200 stores worldwide on November 23rd, 2010.
