Chanel Relaunch Soho Boutique With Party

New York Fashion Week may be underway, but last night the stars were turning out to a different fashion event: the reopening of Chanel's Soho Boutique. The store underwent an artistic makeover under the watchful eye of Peter Marino who coordinated the renovation. Celebrities, models and fashion editors all turned out to the event, including Lily Donaldson, Jessica Stam and Blake Lively, all of whom wowed in their own Chanel pieces that they chose to wear to the event.

Karl Lagerfeld was photographed staying close to actress Diane Kruger at the event, who he has formed a close bond with in recent years. Attendees were invited to tag the store's entrance with infrared spray cans, keeping up with the new artistic appearance of the redesigned store. The party also marked the launch of the makeup collection 'Soho Story' which was created to make the occasion. Karl, not fussed by the activity around him, stated: "It's part of the game, you know."
