Natalia Vodianova Cast in Lead Acting Role

Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova has been cast in her first major acting role. The model has been juggling her modeling career with a blossoming acting career after she landed a role as Medusa in Clash of the Titans last year.

Now Natalia has been chosen to star opposite Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in an upcoming film. The film is named Belle du Seigneur and is based on Albert Cohen's 1968 French novel of the same name.

The film's director is Glenio Bonier who has previously worked with the model on Calvin Klein commercials, and will be his first feature film.

Natalia will transform into a Swiss woman for her upcoming role, who is caught up in a love affair with a Jewish diplomat (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) while their love in threatened by the impending World War II.

Filming will begin on the 25th of October, first in Geneva and then later, in Italy.
