Charlotte Taylor Spring / Summer 2011 Lookbook

Charlotte Taylor is a rising star on the British Fashion scene, having already laid down the bones of what we can continue to expect from her in seasons to come. Her focus has already become apparent as we check out the look book for the Spring/Summer 2011 season, which, like last season, features colourful quirky prints and bold colour clashes. As she put it herself on her official blog which follows her work, “don't expect - black”.

The look book features retro inspired hot-pants and jumpsuits as well as dresses, some subtly splashed with an off-beat oversized polka-dot, or a horizontal stripe in a bright colour - this perhaps providing the updated touch (along with the 'cross' style metal structuring) the collection needed to create a delicate equilibrium between retro-inspiration and modernization. Topped off with boat shoes, socks and heels and a straw hat here and there, the Spring/Summer 2011 look book proves that Taylor is on a roll.
