The Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2011 accessory collection is awash with different concepts - from a pair of shoes which seemed to be constructed out of measuring tape, to a pair of studded nude kitten heels with a minuscule heel and pointy toe. Although each design didn’t easily mesh into the next, it was this mix and match feel that made each accessory even more unique and individual.
The French craftsman had designed each piece in intricate detail - from the artful 50’s inspired red, blue and white polka-dot peep toes, to the teetering heels added to the space-age multi-colour peep-toe ankle boots.
The bags were equally as pleasing to the eye, with a vintage inspired clutch featuring an opaque collage and Louboutin medallion. A monochrome black and white graphic printed tote latched closed with a shiny silver lock - the bag was subtly modern, with a touch of luxury - a delicately balanced idea, just like the mesmerising equilibrium which Louboutin achieves from heel to toe of his dazzling shoes.
