Jonathan Saunders is the Prince of print. Famed for tailoring print to work with a garment's shape, Central Saint Martin's Graduate Saunders champions collaborations. With partnerships with Topshop, Target and Pollini under his belt one would be forgiven for thinking that good things came in threes. But Saunders is no work-shy Scot, for Escada has been named as his latest designing escapade.
Saunders' estimation that the collaboration will be "a great fit" is owing to the essence of Escada; "cool femininity, relaxed chic, modern shapes and colour" which should compliment Saunders recent shift to "an architectural, clean form".
London and Paris will be home to the June 2011 presentation of twenty crafted creations for Escada's Sport Label - including leather accessories. When it comes to Escada's Resort 2012 collection- watch this space.
