Anything but Minimal

Generally, when something is considered to be minimal it is thought of as understated, simple and less than extraordinary. However, after living in Paris for almost two years now, I have discovered that multicolored angora sweaters with oversized studs, embellished pleather leggings, and platform embroidered shoes are a little too Spice Girl and not enough Parisian Girl. Moral of the story: less is more. And the only place where I have found more for less in Paris is at the H&M owned COS, an affordable approach to high fashion located in the very trendy Marais.



This store has changed my style from throwing on whatver I own to taking a more selective and clean-line approach to fashion. Unfortunately, North Americans will have to travel to Europe to get their hands on the line but it makes it just that much more “international.”
