Tweeting live today from Chanel's Pre-Fall 2011 collection, Vogue Paris gave us a look at what we can expect from the fashion house, including an insiders glimpse at a very special limited edition eye-shadow palette created by Peter Philips, International director of the creation of the make-up.
The collection is inspired by the Byzantine Empire, and the eyeshadow palette is also themed similarly, taking inspiration from 'Byzantine Lights'. With a baroque finish and five gleaming gold eye-shadows, this limited edition palette will only be made in limited quantities (1,500 according to Vogue) so are sure to sell out quickly. Each eyeshadow has its own purpose - one is to be worn like an eyeliner, while other shades have been delegated their own point of application (one is just for the internal corner of the eye).
Courtesy of Vogue Paris, Karl Lagerfeld has also photographed 7 sneak peek images for us to gaze at in excitement until we see the whole collection shortly - watch this space for a full review of the complete collection.
