The Body Shop x London College of Fashion

For Spring/Summer 2011, The Body Shop has teamed up with London College of Fashion to create a quirky line of beauty essentials in cheerful spring shades. The fashion college held a competition to decide the winning designs, and a student named Katarina Voloder was chosen for the project. Katarina, who is a fashion illustration undergraduate, designed a girly pop art inspired range of prints in pretty shades of pink, purple and black which now adorn each product in the collection. The limited collection will hit stores in February and is named 'Brush With Fashion'. The collection is also eco-friendly and according to them, is also 'sustainable' and cruelty-free.

For the launch, former London College of Fashion makeup artist Nikki Palmer created graphically striking makeup as models of all ages sauntered down the catwalk. All the products used (the preview of the products is below) were taken from the new collaboration collection. Some of the images from the launch are also included below - clothing was provided by upcoming labels such as William Tempest and Jena.Theo. Makeup artist Nikki commented on the idea behind the collaboration: "It show it can be really fashionable as well as sustainable and ethical."
